No stopping Dottin in UWI's sweep of Walker T20 Tournament

Bridgetown, Barbados - As they have done in the one-day Tournament, Sagicor UWI Blackbirds have also swept the Iris Walker Memorial Twenty20 Championship with three wins in as many matches.

Medium-pacer Tiffany Thorpe took five for 14 off four overs to help set up an easy win by eight wickets over Angela Harris Tridents at Friendship.

Tridents were limited to 73 for eight off 20 overs after they were sent in.

Deandra Dottin then slammed 41 not out off 26 balls with four hours and one six to prople UWI to victory in 12.5 overs.

Tridents beat Pride

A good knock of 39 off 41 balls including three fours and one six by opener Danielle Small gave Angela Tridents a 22-run win against Pat Whittaker Pride at Pine Basin.

Tridents made 126 for five off 20 overs with captain Shaquana Quintyne contributing 25 and Aaliyah A Alleyne (22).

Pride were given a solid start of 75 in 10.3 overs by Kycia Knight and Hayley Matthews but were eventually restricted to 104 for five.

Knight topscored with 40 off 41 balls including three boundaries while Matthews made 35.

Century for Dottin

Deandra Dottin slammed an unbeaten century and took two wickets as UWI Blackbirds crushed Pat Whittaker Pride by 76 runs at 3Ws Oval.

Dottin hit 105 not out off 56 balls with 11 fours and five sixes in a 

total of 163 for three off 18 overs.

Pride were restricted to 87 for six.
